Commit to Being Fit

29 Oct

Did I scare you away? Or just the guys? Haha, I know commitment can be scary, but it is essential for long term success. There’s a lot I’d like to say about men and women, but I’ll focus on fitness and nutrition for now. Right now I am working on several programs that will yield huge results because of the commitment. Without commitment there is no guarantee that you will achieve results. I know from personal experience.

Celeste was a very busy, very pretty Mom of 2. During the week she restricted her calories, worked out, and was very strict about her diet and fitness routine. Starting on Friday nights, she became the party animal and ate lots of snacks, fried foods, and consumed several high calorie drinks. Because she consumed so many calories over the weekend, she wound up gaining weight instead of losing it.  Even though Celeste was GOOD 4 1/2 days of the week, the 2 1/2 days of snacks and drinks negated all the of her hard work. So Celeste is an example of a partial commitment. We’ve all been there. Perhaps we try a few classes or go on a diet, but the long term result is never satisfying. Partial commitments equal partial results.

So if you want big results, commit to a program of six weeks. Forget the excuses, the opportunity awaits. Seize the day.

I am running three 6 week programs right now and the results have been AMAZING thus far! One program is my ETC Bootcamp at the Equinox in Bethesda, the second program is a twice a week cycle program at Zengo Fitness in Bethesda, and the third program is FREE, yes a FREE 5K running program for new runners. The information is posted below for the run program so I’d love for you to join our group. The link to the running program is available at
