At 25, I quit a lucrative career in IT consulting to pursue my passion for fitness.  In today’s world, making job changes can be tough.  Many people stay in the same job for 20 years because it is comfortable to them, even if they are unhappy.  Many people stay in relationships because they are afraid of being alone.  Many people do the same thing every day because its comfortable.

If you spend most of your life at work, you might as well be happy.  Now I believe your day job is labeled WORK for a reason, but you should find some type of satisfaction.  Often times, I talk with friends, clients, and relatives that are not happy with their job.  There can be many reasons why one would be dissatisfied such as the pay, type of work, or ability to grow.  Many people stay in their current job because they are afraid they wouldn’t find another job.  Today their are so many resources on the internet, that there is no reason one should stay in a position without exploring other options.

One of the best resources on the internet for marketing yourself is LinkedIn.  Many times recruiters find candidates through this site, so setting up a good profile is important.  Setting up a profile can be time consuming so why not have the experts do it for you.  Try a LinkedIn profile expert to find a top expert who can create a profile that will get noticed by job recruiters and potential clients. Soon you will see new and exciting opportunities to allow you to work in the career of your dreams.

You live once, so spend it doing something you love!

If you made a career change via LinkedIn, let me know how it has helped you!

In Health and Happiness,
