Some days you may have the very best intention to exercise, eat really well, and get a million things done, and everything is beyond your control, so what do you do?

The last few days have been like that for me.  I planned to run hard, eat tons of vegetables and protein, and get plenty of sleep, but somehow everything that could go wrong, did.  My best friend has a quote that she tells me when I get stressed.  She says, “Breathe in the flowers, blow out the candles.”  I am pretty sure I blew out enough candles to light up an auditorium.  When drama occurs, you have to handle it, and it is your response that dictates the end result.  If you are proactive, things always have a way of working out.

So really you have two options, you can focus on the things you can’t control and that will surely drive you to insanity or you can focus on doing your very best with what is in your control.  So if you had a day like mine, the best thing you can do is think about the things that did go well and create a plan to accomplish your goals tomorrow.  Think about what you wanted to do today and how you can make that happen tomorrow.

My plan is to wake up early, write my morning blog, add 30 minutes of additional cardio into my workout tomorrow, pack all my meals, and then have a very successful day at work.  Afterwards I will go to kickboxing before teaching class then enjoy time with one of my girlfriends.  I feel happy already knowing that I have a plan and even if I don’t achieve everything on my list, I am sure to accomplish some of the goals, if not all.

Tomorrow is a new day.  Create a plan and make it happen!  Only YOU can make your dreams come true!  What will plan to do tomorrow that will bring you closer to achieving your goals?
